Permits for clearing native vegetation
On rural or zoned land in the NT, clearing more than 1 hectare of native vegetation generally needs a Development Permit under the NT Planning Scheme. Litchfield landholders can generally clear up to 1 hectare without approval. Burning green waste in the rural area also needs a permit from NT Fire and Rescue Service first. We'll talk you through it when we quote.
